Privacy Policy
Escalation Binder is a local-first incident and escalation workspace.
Data you create
The app stores the escalation details you enter, including team members, operational references, workbench material, timeline events, evidence metadata, impact, root-cause analysis, action items, updates, decisions, checklists, handoffs, closure verification, and packet activity.
Local storage and platform differences
App data is stored on your device using system persistence technologies. On Apple devices, optional private-device sync and explicitly invited per-escalation sharing use CloudKit and your iCloud account. The public Android app is local-only: it has no CloudKit, TeamAdler account, developer-operated backend, analytics, advertising, or automatic network sync. Android imports a packet only when you explicitly select a versioned JSON file through the system document picker. Public Android 1.0 keeps JSON and Markdown output in private app storage and does not yet provide a system save/share destination.
Evidence files
On Apple devices, when you ask the app to manage evidence, it copies the selected file into app-owned storage. Managed originals and redacted copies remain local to that device. On every platform, a portable packet contains evidence metadata and documented paths, not the evidence file bytes.
Data collection
- No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
- No tracking SDKs and no cross-app tracking.
- No sale of personal or escalation data.
- No additional account is required.
- No AI service receives your escalation content.
Sharing and ownership
Apple-device CloudKit sharing is optional. The iCloud owner chooses recipients and permissions for each shared escalation. Recipients may retain information they already imported or exported even after access is revoked. CloudKit does not automatically transfer organizational ownership when an owner leaves. Android does not participate in CloudKit sharing; you control any packet file that you explicitly export or provide to another person or app.
Deletion and retention
You control the local records. Deleting an escalation removes its local app records and app-managed evidence copies. For an Apple-device shared packet, an owner stops the share and a participant leaves it. Clearing Android app data or uninstalling the Android app removes its private local state. Source files, exported packets, and reports outside the app are not deleted automatically.
Platform services
CloudKit and Apple App Store distribution are Apple services. Android and Google Play distribution are Google services. Those platform services are subject to their operators' privacy terms. Apple bundle ID and Android package: com.teamadler.escalationbinder. CloudKit container used only by supported Apple builds: iCloud.com.teamadler.escalationbinder.
